Job Description

Omni-Channel Assortment Planning

  • Develop and optimize channel-specific assortment strategies across DTC, retail, marketplace, and wholesale businesses.
  • Ensure product assortments align with customer demand, channel requirements, and overall business objectives.
  • Drive SKU productivity through data-led decision making while maintaining a balanced and effective product portfolio.



Demand Forecasting & Supply Planning

  • Lead the global forecasting process by integrating historical sales performance, market trends, promotional calendars, and predictive analytics.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to enhance forecast accuracy and improve planning effectiveness.
  • Support business planning through data-driven insights and scenario analysis.



Product Lifecycle & Inventory Management

  • Manage product performance throughout its lifecycle, from launch through maturity and end-of-life planning.
  • Develop inventory strategies that optimize sell-through, reduce excess stock, and maintain healthy inventory levels.
  • Recommend pricing, inventory disposition, and assortment actions based on business performance and customer demand.



Allocation & Replenishment Strategy

  • Oversee inventory allocation across global distribution centers and sales channels.
  • Ensure appropriate stock positioning to support regional demand requirements and key product launches.
  • Partner with operational stakeholders to improve product availability and inventory efficiency.



Commercial Planning & OTB Governance

  • Own and manage the Open-to-Buy (OTB) framework across product categories and channels.
  • Monitor inventory turnover, sales performance, and stock productivity to support commercial objectives.
  • Leverage business intelligence tools and analytics platforms to drive planning effectiveness and operational excellence.



The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Merchandise Planning, Category Management, Buying, or Commercial Planning within a global consumer, lifestyle, fashion, retail, or direct-to-consumer environment.
  • Strong understanding of assortment planning, demand forecasting, inventory management, and retail financial planning principles.
  • Proven experience managing Open-to-Buy (OTB) processes and inventory optimization initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in ERP systems, planning tools, and data visualization platforms.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, as well as Google Workspace.
  • Comfortable working within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and evolving business environment.
  • Interest in consumer lifestyle products, design-driven brands, innovation, and technology-related products would be advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Merchandising, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related discipline.
