Job Description Lead the mechanical engineering function across the full product development lifecycle, from concept definition to mass production。 Define mechanical architecture, design strategies, material selection, and manufacturing solutions for consumer hardware products. Drive EVT, DVT, PVT, and production ramp activities while ensuring product quality, reliability, and cost targets are achieved. Partner closely with Product Management, Industrial Design, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations teams. Manage relationships with OEM, ODM, contract manufacturers, and component suppliers across Asia. Resolve complex engineering, assembly, tooling, and manufacturing challenges. Establish engineering processes, design standards, and practices to support business growth. Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing mechanical engineering team. Support new product introduction initiatives and continuous product improvement efforts. The Successful Applicant A successful Mechanical Engineering Director should have: Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline. Experience in mechanical engineering within consumer electronics or related industries. Demonstrated experience lead*ing hardware products from concept through production. Strong knowledge of mechanical design, material selection, tooling development, manufacturing processes, and reliability engineering. Hands-on experience working with OEM/ODM partners and contract manufacturers. Proven leadership experience managing and developing engineering teams. Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills. Experience operating in both fast-paced and highly collaborative environments.
