Job Description Design and develop mechanical systems for advanced robotic and automation equipment. Lead the design of motion-related modules, including drive systems, lifting mechanisms, structural assemblies, and electromechanical integrations. Conduct structural analysis, tolerance studies, and design verification activities to ensure product performance and reliability. Build and evaluate prototypes, perform root-cause analysis, and drive continuous product improvements. Partner closely with hardware, electrical, sourcing, manufacturing, and supplier teams throughout the development process. Drive DFM/DFA initiatives to support manufacturing readiness, product quality, and cost optimization. Support engineering validation, pilot builds, and mass production implementation. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. 8+ years of mechanical design experience in robotics, automation equipment, motion systems, automotive, or industrial products. Strong experience in mechanical architecture development, transmission systems, moving mechanisms, or electromechanical products. Proficient in SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software and familiar with GD&T. Experienced in DFM/DFA, tolerance analysis, material selection, and manufacturing processes. Hands-on approach with prototype development, testing, debugging, and problem-solving. Comfortable working within cross-functional and international engineering teams.
