Job Description Lead technical development activities for new and existing consumer products from concept through mass production. Conduct mechanical design reviews, engineering analysis, prototyping, component selection, and product validation activities. Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing partners to optimize product performance, manufacturability, and production processes. Support engineering activities including DFM, DFA, tooling review, and production readiness assessments. Drive technical problem solving through root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives. Work closely with product development, quality, sourcing, and customer-facing teams to ensure product requirements are achieved. Evaluate and qualify suppliers from an engineering perspective to ensure technical capabilities meet project expectations. Monitor project timelines, quality targets, and development milestones while ensuring effective communication among stakeholders. Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and manufacturing practices. The Successful Applicant A successful Mechanical Engineer should have: A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Proven expertise in designing and developing mechanical systems. Strong project management skills, including planning and resource allocation. Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
