About Our Client

Job Description

  • End-to-End Process Ownership
    • Manage and optimize full manufacturing processes for magnetic components, including ferrite cores, molding inductors, and Cu-Fe co-firing inductors
    • Cover critical stages such as powder preparation, forming/pressing, curing, sintering, and final testing
  • Technical Problem Solving
    • Diagnose and resolve manufacturing defects including cracking, porosity, deformation, delamination, oxidation, and inductance instability
    • Drive root cause management and implement sustainable corrective actions
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC, VSM, SMED, TPM) to reduce DPPM, and enhance Cpk and OEE
    • Manage DOE initiatives to optimize process parameters
  • NPI &Industrialization
    • New product introduction (NPI) through DFM reviews, pilot runs, and mass production ramp-up
    • Manage engineering projects with clear timelines, budgets, and risk control
  • Production Management
    • Provide hands-on engineering help to production lines
    • Train technicians and operators to ensure process stability and capability

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Materials Science, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or related disciplines
  • Minimum 10 years of manufacturing engineering experience in magnetic components, ferrite, or powder metallurgy
  • Strong hands-on expertise in at least one full process:
    • Ferrite core manufacturing (powder → sintering), or
    • Molding inductors / Cu-Fe co-firing processes
  • Familiar with key equipment and testing tools such as sintering furnaces, tunnel kilns, presses, spray dryers, and LCR measurement systems
  • Proficient in engineering tools such as CAD, SolidWorks, and statistical software (Minitab or JMP)
  • Certified Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred) with demonstrated project experience
  • Strong project ownership with proven delivery track record
  • Fluent in English (able to work in an international technical environment)
