Job Description Technical Leadership: Master the precision machining of non-standard semiconductor or aerospace components, with expertise in turning, milling, grinding, EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining), and wire-EDM processes. Design optimal machining routes (e.g., sequence planning, fixturing strategies) to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish requirements. Develop multi-axis CNC programming solutions and optimize toolpaths to minimize cycle times and material waste. Operational Excellence: Lead small-batch production projects, ensuring efficient resource allocation (e.g., machine utilization, tooling management). Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce lead times and enhance productivity. Client Engagement: Serve as the primary technical contact for domestic and international clients, resolving complex technical challenges and fostering collaborative relationships. Translate client needs into actionable technical specifications, ensuring alignment with quality and delivery timelines. Team Management: Direct a team of engineers/technicians, providing mentorship, performance evaluations, and career development opportunities. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration. The Successful Applicant Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred. Experience: Minimum 15 years in CNC machining, with 5+ years in a leadership role. Prior exposure to semiconductor/aerospace industries is highly advantageous. Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks, Siemens NX). Hands-on experience with multi-axis CNC machines (e.g., 5-axis milling, Swiss-type lathes). Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100). Soft Skills: Fluent English (written and spoken) for global client interactions and team communication. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
