Job Description

  • Execute purchasing activities in line with company purchasing strategies and policies
  • Independently manage purchasing projects from brief definition to supplier allocation, ensuring competitive solutions on cost, lead time, service, and quality
  • Act as a key point of contact for internal customers, translating business needs into effective purchasing actions
  • Manage supplier qualification and compliance, ensuring alignment with internal standards and policies
  • Work closely with suppliers on innovation, eco-design, and sustainability initiatives, aligned with the group's environmental commitments
  • Provide regular and ad-hoc updates to management on project progress, risks, and unresolved issues
  • Organize and participate in project review meetings with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to team KPIs and scorecards, including purchasing performance, contract coverage, and improvement initiatives
  • Support additional cross-functional projects as assigned by management

The Successful Applicant

A successful Indirect Sourcing professional should have:

  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • 2-3 years of experience in purchasing or related roles; manufacturing or cosmetics industry experience is a strong plus
  • Proficiency in English; French is considered a plus
  • Strong project management skills, with good control of cost, timelines, and priorities
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a solid understanding of internal stakeholder needs
  • Structured, analytical, and methodical problem-solving approach
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work autonomously and efficiently
