Job Description

This is a key commercial head and responsible for establishing and driving the new Retail organization (servicing Pharmacies, Club stores, hyper/supermarkets, health & beauty stores) and team (~3 direct reports + sub-distributor teams), delivering end to end activation plans such that the team consistently delivers its sales, profit, market share, and customer ranking goals.

Key Performance Metrics

  • Net Sales for area of responsibility
  • Trade and marketing spending to budget for area of responsibility
  • EBITDA for area of responsibility
  • Brand equity growth
  • Market share %
  • Growth and development of direct reports

The Successful Applicant

  • At least 5 years commercial leadership role in nutrition or food&beverage business, familiar with distribution management and KAs such as Sam's Club and Cosco.
  • Background in key accounts management and/or developing strategy and activation plans
  • Demonstrated ability to translate global and category strategies to local needs and then driving successful execution of a plan through a team
  • Relevant experience with influencing external business stakeholders in areas like strategy, plans, negotiations, and budget management
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and relationship-building ability - must be able to foster and develop relationships with customers and internally at all levels of the organization
  • Strong financial, quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to develop strategy and financial management pertaining to implementing deals with customers
  • Strong people management and development experience, with a successful track record of managing a team
