About Our Client Client is a global well-known infant formula and dairy company with fast growing business globally especially in China market. Job Description *Lead the qualification, approval, and periodic re-evaluation of all raw material suppliers and OEM manufacturers for all dairy categories.*Develop and maintain a robust supplier and OEM quality management system, including risk assessment, documentation review, on-site audits, and quality agreements.*Plan and execute supplier and contract manufacturer audits, including GMP, food safety, traceability, and regulatory compliance assessments.*Oversee product release for all externally manufactured products and raw materials, ensuring they meet internal specifications and relevant regulatory standards (e.g., GB standards for China, Codex, EU, US FDA).*Manage the resolution of quality incidents, including root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions (CAPA), and communication with internal stakeholders and external partners.*Collaborate closely with Procurement, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, and Logistics teams to ensure quality is embedded across the external supply chain.*Maintain and monitor key quality performance indicators (KPIs) for suppliers and OEMs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.*Ensure compliance with all relevant export market regulations, particularly for products exported to China, including SAMR registration and formula change controls for infant formula.*Support business growth by qualifying new suppliers and OEMs as required for new product development or market expansion.*Stay up to date with global regulatory changes and evolving quality practices in dairy and infant nutrition industries. The Successful Applicant *Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Dairy Technology, Quality Assurance, or related field.*10+ years of experience in quality assurance or quality management in the dairy industry, with at least 5 years in a regional or global QA role.*Strong experience in managing supplier and OEM qualification, including on-site audits and quality risk assessments.*In-depth knowledge of global food safety standards and regulations, particularly infant formula standards (e.g., GB, Codex, FDA).*Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence both internal and external stakeholders.*Excellent communication and negotiation skills; English fluency is required, and Mandarin proficiency is a strong plus.*Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed (up to 30-40%).
