Job Description

1. Innovation & Portfolio DevelopmentCo-develop innovation and renovation pipelines with Marketing and Product Development teams

Contribute to growth planning with consumer-driven recommendations

Facilitate innovation framing sessions and define product development direction

Provide input to portfolio strategy based on consumer research and market insights2. Consumer Insight to Product TranslationTranslate consumer and customer insights into product and pack design attributes

Lead product brief development and consolidate cross-functional inputs

Apply design thinking to accelerate front-end innovation processes

Provide actionable guidance on product attributes grounded in consumer needs3. Consumer Research & TestingDesign and execute consumer learning plans to evaluate product desirability

Define success criteria and research methodologies

Manage external research agencies and ensure quality delivery

Deliver clear, data-driven insights to support business and R&D decisions4. Capability BuildingDevelop and expand local consumer insight knowledge base

Promote good practices in consumer and sensory research methodologies

Build and maintain agile local consumer panels

Collaborate with global R&D and external partners to enhance capabilities5. Product Performance & Palatability TestingPlan and manage in-home product performance testing programs

Oversee consumer panel quality and ensure proper representation

Coordinate testing protocols and ensure timely delivery of results

Track and manage related budgets and program execution

The Successful Applicant

Master's degree or above in Food Science, Sensory Science, Consumer Science, Life Science or related disciplines

8+ years of experience in FMCG, preferably within R&D or Consumer Science

Strong expertise in consumer research methodologies and their application in product development

Hands-on experience with statistical tools (e.g., SPSS, SAS, Minitab)

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Fluent in English and Chinese
