Job Description

Strategic Business Partnering

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business and commercial leaders, supporting strategic decision-making and business growth initiatives.
  • Provide financial insights to support market expansion, pricing strategy, market share analysis, commercial investments, and profitability improvement.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and execute business strategies.



Financial Planning & Performance Management

  • Lead annual operating plans, forecasts, monthly business reviews, and long-term strategic planning.
  • Monitor and analyze key business metrics, including orders, revenue, gross margin, profitability, and cash flow.
  • Identify risks and opportunities and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.



Commercial Finance Leadership

  • Drive business performance through robust financial analysis and reporting.
  • Evaluate market trends, competitive dynamics, and business performance to support strategic planning.
  • Develop financial models and scenario analyses to guide investment decisions.



Operational Excellence & Compliance

  • Strengthen financial processes, controls, and governance frameworks.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, internal control requirements, and corporate policies.
  • Improve financial visibility through dashboards, KPIs, and performance management tools.
  • Partner with operations and commercial teams to drive productivity, cost optimization, and inventory management improvements.



Team Leadership

  • Lead, develop, and mentor a finance team.
  • Build organizational capability and succession planning.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and talent development.

The Successful Applicant

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Approximately 15+ years of progressive finance experience, including substantial business partnering responsibilities.
  • Strong experience supporting commercial organizations in a multinational environment.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving business performance and influencing senior stakeholders.



Preferred

  • MBA, Master's degree, CPA, ACCA, CMA, or other relevant professional qualifications.
  • Prior leadership experience managing finance teams in a matrix organization.
  • Healthcare, medical devices, life sciences, industrial technology, or related sector experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of financial controls, compliance, and reporting requirements (e.g., GAAP, SOX).
  • Experience managing change organizations through complex and dynamic business environments.
  • Fluent communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
