Job Description

  • Act as the second line of defense to independently assess and challenge AI/ML risk management practices across technology and cyber security domains
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of AI risk management frameworks, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Proactively identify and assess risks associated with AI applications, including technical, operational, and security-related risks
  • Review and evaluate the design and effectiveness of first-line controls, providing recommendations for improvement
  • Establish ongoing monitoring mechanisms to track AI risk exposure and report regularly to senior management
  • Collaborate closely with data, technology, and security teams to drive consistency and implementation of AI risk management approaches
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends in AI/ML and cyber security, delivering insights and supporting internal capability building
  • Support the development and refinement of AI-related policies, standards, and governance frameworks
  • Provide independent oversight and expert advice on AI risk management to ensure effective governance

The Successful Applicant

  • Solid technical background with hands-on experience in cyber security, information technology, or AI/ML
  • Strong understanding of information security and technology risk management frameworks and control environments
  • Good knowledge of AI-related risks, including model risk, data risk, and ethical and regulatory considerations
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to drive complex initiatives to completion
  • Proven ability to influence and engage effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to balance long-term strategy and short-term decision-making
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical topics in a structured manner
  • Demonstrated learning agility and interest in emerging technologies
  • Team-oriented mindset, with the ability to lead and collaborate in a cross-functional environment
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
