Job Description Develop and execute productivity roadmaps for existing product lines and platforms. Identify cost reduction opportunities through value engineering, component optimization, design simplification, and manufacturing improvements. Lead complex cross-functional projects with accountability for savings delivery and implementation. Analyze BOM structure, manufacturing costs, supplier costs, warranty data, and operational metrics to identify improvement opportunities. Drive engineering change activities from evaluation through validation and production deployment. Partner closely with sourcing teams and suppliers on localization, second-source qualification, and material substitution initiatives. Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to improve product performance, manufacturability, and profitability. Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance on productivity methodologies and cost optimization approaches. Establish project metrics and monitor the achievement of productivity targets. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline. 8+ years of experience in Value Engineering, Productivity Engineering, Sustaining Engineering, Cost Engineering, Product Engineering, or related functions. Strong track record of delivering measurable cost savings through design, sourcing, and manufacturing optimization. Experience with engineering change management, supplier development, product lifecycle management, and cross-functional project execution. Background in consumer electronics, smart home products, appliances, industrial products, electromechanical devices, or related industries. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven approach. Comfortable working within international and matrix organizations. Fluent English communication skills.
