Job Description You, as a Technical Engineer, will be r*esponsible for areas of intervention that will primarily involve aromatics compounding technologies and products. Working closely with our Commercial Business Unit as well as its Project Operations BD, Industrial Operations BD, Legal Department, etc.; your assignment will involve short-term overseas travel.Day-to-day tasks will mainly include Prepare technical proposals based on bids. D*etermine and optimize product or plant performance, catalyst quantities, operating conditions and cycle times. Make preliminary selection of equipment and calculate investment and operating costs. Technically s*upport Regional Sales Managers in preparing and d*efending offers with customers. Participate in the updating of technical marketing documents and push technology and catalysts Monitor a range of installations and maintain regular technical relationships with customers Conduct field visits at customer sites: performance testing of grassroots units, catalyst replacement and activation, catalyst performance testing, troubleshooting. Collects data related to the use of units under monitoring and identifies areas for improvement of technology and products. Maintains technical expertise and contributes to product development by suggesting improvements. The Successful Applicant A successful Aromatics Technology & Tech Services Engineer should have: Chemical, chemical process engineering engineer with extensive experience in aromatics technology. Skills in designing and sizing standard equipment on simulation software (ProII, Hysys, etc.) are preferred.
