Job Description Technology Leadership Define and drive technology roadmap aligned with global and regional strategy Lead development activities across automotive electronic systems, potentially including ADAS, E/E architecture, chassis control, or embedded software Support transformation toward software-defined vehicles and intelligent mobility Program & Delivery Management Oversee full product lifecycle from concept phase to SOP (Start of Production) Ensure successful project execution in terms of quality, cost, and timing (QCT) Manage complex, cross-functional and cross-regional development programs Team Leadership Lead and develop a multidisciplinary R&D organization (hardware, software, system, validation) Build a high-performing engineering team, including talent attraction, coaching, and succession planning Drive a strong engineering culture focused on accountability and innovation Customer & Stakeholder Engagement Act as a key technical interface to OEM customers (global and local) Support business development activities with technical insights and solution proposals Collaborate closely with global teams, particularly HQ in Europe, ensuring alignment and efficiency Strategic Contribution Contribute to regional R&D strategy and organizational development Strengthen local R&D capabilities ("China for China" / "China for Global") Support platform-based and scalable product development The Successful Applicant A successful Automotive R&D Engineer should have:Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering (Electronics, Automotive, Computer Science or related)12-15+ years of experience in the automotive industry (Tier 1 preferred) Proven track record in manage R&D teams at Director or senior level An innovative mindset with a keen interest in emerging automotive technologies.
