Job Description New Product Development & Innovation: Initiate and drive new product programs in alignment with Strategic Sales; leverage CFD, CSM, feasibility studies, field tests to enhance design/application productivity. Producibility & Compliance: Secure producibility with Production, Process Engineering, Purchasing, and suppliers; ensure product/process safety and adherence to international standards and environmental/human safety regulations (incl. test beds). QCD‑Driven Project Management: Establish regular project reporting & reviews to meet QCD (Quality‑Cost‑Duration) targets; lead efficient finance management, budget planning, and cost‑center control. Engineering Network & Leadership: Provide capacity and resources per defined priorities; select, motivate, and develop teams across the global engineering network; coordinate with Product Management, Innovation/Technology/Quality, Purchasing, Production, and Order Mgmt. Methods & Standards: Set development methods, processes, and tools-incl. development guidelines and project management standards-to uplift end‑to‑end efficiency and quality. Operations & Product Strategy Contribution: Contribute to operations strategy, product roadmap, and decisions on cost‑effective supply and manufacturing; lead company innovation direction and execution. Team Size (Span of Control): Approximately 80-100 engineers across design, project management, research/application functions. The Successful Applicant A successful R&D Director professional should have:Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or above);Fluent English (written & spoken) for cross‑border collaboration;5-8 years in an equivalent role with proven people management and cross‑functional coordination;Broad technical background and project management experience.
