This role suits someone with strong Linux fundamentals, practical troubleshooting ability, an automation mindset, and the maturity to support business-critical systems calmly and reliably The Successful Applicant A successful IT Ops should have: 5+ years of Linux system administration, infrastructure, DevOps, or production operations experience. Strong Linux troubleshooting skills across modern Linux environments. Good scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, and Ansible. Experience building, maintaining, or supporting Kubernetes environments. Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewall rules, VPNs, and basic packet-level troubleshooting. Exposure to latency-sensitive systems, latency measurement, packet-loss investigation, or Linux/network performance tuning.
