Job Description Key Responsibilities Conduct supply and demand analysis of the global iron ore and steel markets. Monitor key developments across mining, steel production, and commodity demand sectors. Support commercial and trading teams through detailed market research and analysis. Build and maintain databases, forecasting models, and research reports. Research related bulk commodities, including ferrous metals and raw materials. Gather intelligence from industry contacts, market participants, and internal stakeholders. Track industry trends, policy developments, and market drivers impacting commodity flows. Present market insights and forecasts to support business strategy and decision-making. The Successful Applicant Requirements Up to 5 years of experience in commodity research, market analysis, or trading. Experience covering iron ore, steel, mining, bulk commodities, or related sectors is preferred. Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Able to learn quickly and work independently in a dynamic environment. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; SQL or VBA knowledge is advantageous. Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
