Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Insurance Growth

  • Drive the promotion and expansion of cargo insurance solutions within the customer portfolio.
  • Identify new business opportunities and increase insurance penetration across logistics and transportation accounts.
  • Develop tailored insurance proposals based on customer risk profiles and supply chain requirements.
  • Work closely with commercial and operations teams to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.



Customer Relationship Management

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Understand customer business strategies, supply chain challenges, and risk exposure.
  • Provide professional advice on cargo insurance, risk mitigation, and coverage solutions.
  • Act as a trusted business partner to support customer growth and long-term success.



Insurance Operations & Claims Management

  • Coordinate policy administration, renewals, endorsements, and related insurance activities.
  • Manage cargo claims processes and ensure timely resolution according to policy terms and service standards.
  • Liaise with insurers, brokers, internal stakeholders, and customers to deliver effective claims handling.
  • Monitor insurance performance and identify opportunities for process improvement.



Strategic Planning & Analytics

  • Analyze customer and market information to identify business opportunities.
  • Utilize CRM and business intelligence tools to support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare management reports, performance reviews, and business recommendations.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging risks within logistics, transportation, and supply chain sectors.



The Successful Applicant

RequirementsEducation

  • Bachelor's degree or above.



Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the insurance industry.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Cargo Insurance
    • Marine Insurance
    • Logistics Insurance
    • Commercial Risk Management



Skills

  • Strong commercial acumen and customer relationship management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Proven experience in business development and account management.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix and multinational environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems and business reporting tools is preferred.
  • Fluency in English and Chinese is highly desirable.
