Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships across a broad range of distribution channels, including: Direct sales Agency networks Insurance brokers Affinity partnerships Digital and online platforms Emerging ecosystem partners Develop and execute channel growth strategies to maximize market reach, customer acquisition, and business profitability. Sales & Commercial Performance Lead and coordinate product promotion initiatives across various distribution channels. Partner closely with Product Managers and Underwriters to jointly deliver business growth, profitability, and portfolio performance objectives. Monitor sales performance and channel productivity, providing actionable recommendations to optimize business outcomes. Product & Portfolio Management Support Support Product Managers and Underwriters in conducting product performance reviews and portfolio management activities. Analyze market trends, channel feedback, customer behavior, and competitive developments to identify growth opportunities and product enhancement needs. Assist in product lifecycle management to ensure business sustainability and customer value delivery. Product Launch & Stakeholder Management Collaborate with Product Managers to coordinate product development, setup, and launch activities. Work effectively with internal stakeholders including Underwriting, Claims, Operations, Compliance, Legal, Marketing, and Technology teams. Engage external partners to ensure successful product implementation and distribution readiness. Underwriting & Risk Management Support Underwriting teams in defining, refining, and managing underwriting risk appetite for Health and Consumer Lines business. Ensure distribution strategies are aligned with underwriting guidelines, risk controls, and profitability objectives. Facilitate effective communication between business development and underwriting functions to balance growth and risk management. Capability Building Coach, train, and develop branch office Business Development teams to effectively promote, position, and distribute Health and Consumer Line products. Establish practices, sales tools, and training programs to enhance channel effectiveness and product knowledge. The Successful Applicant Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Insurance, Finance, Economics, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in insurance distribution, health insurance, group insurance, employee benefits, or related business development functions. Proven experience managing multiple distribution channels, including brokers, agents, direct sales, and digital partnerships. Strong understanding of health insurance and group insurance products, underwriting principles, and portfolio management. Demonstrated success in driving profitable business growth and executing channel expansion strategies. Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills. Strong analytical, commercial, and strategic thinking capabilities. Fluent in Mandarin and English, with strong communication and presentation skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in multinational insurance companies or international health insurance providers. Established network across brokers, corporate clients, affinity partners, and digital ecosystem platforms. Team leadership and people management experience. Familiarity with China's health insurance and employee benefits market landscape.
