Job Description

Financial Planning & Analysis and Investment Support

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting packages, provide business performance dashboards, and facilitate discussions with business leaders.
  • Play a key role in rolling forecasts and annual budget planning.
  • Participate in strategic data evaluation and research initiatives for senior leadership.
  • Conduct project assessments, validate business plans, and address ad hoc business requests.
  • Develop, monitor, and enhance financial and operational KPIs to support business priorities and performance targets.
  • Provide financial modeling, investment assessments, and business case evaluations to facilitate investment determinations and strategic initiatives.
  • Present actionable financial insights and recommendations that enable informed business judgments.



Accounting & Controllership

  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations and maintain effective financial and operational controls, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and continuously improve financial processes, procedures, and reporting systems.
  • Manage all aspects of the company's P&L and Balance Sheet, ensuring risks and opportunities are appropriately identified, evaluated, and reflected.
  • Oversee the monthly close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Strengthen governance frameworks and control processes to enhance financial accountability.



Treasury

  • Manage all local treasury activities, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and cash management, in accordance with Group Treasury policies.
  • Proactively engage with Group Treasury to execute treasury-related initiatives and optimize cash management processes.
  • Monitor working capital performance and recommend actions to improve cash generation.



Tax

  • Oversee all tax matters across China operations, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders and Global Tax teams regarding tax planning, intercompany transactions, and tax efficiency initiatives.
  • Identify and evaluate tax risks and opportunities across the business.



Audit, Internal Controls & Compliance

  • Manage relationships with internal and external auditors and oversee all statutory and internal audit activities.
  • Ensure statutory reviews and filings are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Drive the implementation of remediation plans based on audit findings and recommendations.
  • Strengthen internal control frameworks and compliance processes across the organization.



Team Leadership & Management

  • Oversee, develop, and strengthen a high-performing finance organization.
  • Establish clear accountability, performance expectations, and development plans for team members.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop talent to maximize individual and team effectiveness.
  • Effectively communicate business priorities, evaluate performance, and foster professional development across the Finance and Royalties teams.
  • Facilitate alignment across cross-functional teams and contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.

CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.

8-10+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership, financial planning, controllership, and business partnering roles.

Demonstrated success in financial planning, reporting, governance, and business performance management.

Experience working within multinational organizations and matrix structures is highly desirable.

Strong commercial acumen with the ability to provide business insights that deliver measurable results.

Excellent financial modeling capabilities and experience optimizing finance processes and systems.

Proven ability to interpret large volumes of complex data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.

Ability to engage effectively with senior leadership and influence key business outcomes.

Excellent business judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.

Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial reporting systems.

Strong communication, stakeholder management, influencing, and negotiation skills.

Demonstrated commitment to high ethical standards, integrity, accountability, and professional conduct.

Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
