Job Description

  • Lead EHS Strategy: Develop and implement EHS policies aligned with global standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and local regulations to achieve Lighthouse Factory safety benchmarks.
  • Risk Management: Conduct proactive hazard assessments, audits, and incident investigations to identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to Chinese environmental, health, and safety laws, and prepare reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
  • Training & Culture: Design and deliver EHS training programs to enhance employee awareness and drive a safety-first mindset across all levels.
  • Sustainability Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed sustainability practices into daily operations, supporting the factory's green transformation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with local authorities, suppliers, and global EHS networks to share good practices and ensure alignment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Leverage data analytics and technology (e.g., IoT, AI) to monitor EHS performance and drive innovation in safety management.

The Successful Applicant

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Certifications: CSP (Certified Safety Professional), or equivalent.
  • Experience: 8+ years in EHS management within manufacturing, with a proven track record of improving safety metrics and achieving certifications (e.g., ISO 45001).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in EHS software, risk assessment tools, and familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., digital twin, predictive analytics).
  • Language: Fluent in English and Mandarin (written and spoken).
  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with a collaborative approach to driving change.
