Lead pixel design activities including performance trade‑offs, simulation, layout review, and design sign‑off. Drive pixel development from feasibility study through tape‑out, qualification, and mass production. Collaborate with process, device, circuit, and product teams to optimise image quality, yield, and reliability. Support customer engagements by providing technical explanations, design justification, and roadmap alignment. Review silicon results, analyse root causes, and lead design or process improvements. Mentor and manage pixel design engineers, setting technical standards and development plans. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, or a related field. Extensive experience in CIS pixel design with successful commercial product releases. Strong understanding of pixel architectures, device physics, noise mechanisms, and image quality metrics. Hands‑on experience with CIS design flows, simulation tools, and silicon validation. Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and make design decisions balancing performance, cost, and manufacturability. Experience supporting customers or product teams during design‑in and mass production phases. Clear communication skills in technical and business environments.
