My client is a fast‑growing energy storage company focused on Commercial & Industrial (C&I) applications, with Europe as a core international market.The company is currently preparing for a Hong Kong main board IPO, with external legal counsel already engaged. Our industry benchmark is Sigenergy, which completed its Hong Kong listing in April this year with an approximate market capitalization of RMB 140 billion.

The organization is built around professional management. There is no family involvement, no related‑party management structure, and decision‑making is fully market‑driven. The founder is young, pragmatic, and deeply respectful of senior executives, with a long‑term view on people and business sustainability.

Energy storage is a key focus area under China's upcoming 15th Five‑Year Plan. The company has delivered approximately 300% year‑on‑year revenue growth, targets RMB 900 million in revenue this year, and has already secured RMB 500 million in signed orders.

Job Description

  • Define and execute the European go‑to‑market strategy for C&I energy storage solutions.
  • Build and scale regional marketing, branding, and commercial enablement capabilities.
  • Partner closely with sales, product, and executive teams to support pipeline growth and long‑term market positioning.
  • Strengthen channel strategy, customer value propositions, and market entry models across key European countries.
  • Act as a strategic voice within the executive team as the company progresses toward IPO.



The Successful Applicant

  • Senior commercial executive background within Commercial & Industrial (C&I) energy storage, power equipment, or adjacent new‑energy sectors, acting as the primary business owner for market growth.
  • Proven European market experience, including go‑to‑market strategy, channel development, and key country expansion.
  • Track record in a C&I energy storage or power technology company, with full ownership of revenue, commercial strategy, or regional P&L.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, manage, and align multicultural teams, including Chinese headquarters teams and international local teams.
  • Strong cross‑cultural communication skills, comfortable working across different time zones and decision‑making styles.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate in fast‑scaling environments, handle ambiguity, and convert strategy into execution.
  • Experience collaborating closely with founders, board members, and senior executives in growth‑stage companies.
  • Fluent English required; additional European languages or Mandarin exposure are a strong advantage.
