Job Description

  • Design and optimize scalable data architectures for large-scale recommendation systems.
  • Build stable, high-performance storage and computing systems.
  • Troubleshoot production issues to ensure system stability.
  • Develop distributed data storage and computing infrastructure.
  • Apply data mining and machine learning for insights from large datasets.
  • Create dynamic data reports to communicate findings.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, C++, and troubleshooting complex systems.
  • Experience with big data frameworks like Hadoop, Hive, Flink, Spark, Kafka, and Redis.
  • Skilled in processing large-scale datasets (ideally at petabyte scale).
  • Project experience related to personalised recommendation or search engines is much preferred.
  • Proactive problem solver with a passion for learning new technologies.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
