Job Description Foster innovation and continuous improvement within the project team. Lead major project reviews and milestone assessments to ensure design, development, validation, and launch activities meet quality and timing targets.Manage complex stakeholder environments across China and global teams, using strong communication and influencing skills.Assess and approve new product opportunities in collaboration with Product Management, Marketing, and Customer teams.Provide clear program status updates, dashboards, and risk assessments to regional and global leadership forums.Coordinate bid preparation together with Cost Management and Technical Program teams to support competitive and profitable quotations.Drive cross-functional issue resolution and escalate critical matters promptly when needed.Monitor risks across the project portfolio and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.Track performance against key program KPIs, including launch readiness, cost performance, profitability, capital investments, and milestone adherence.Promote consistent adoption of standardized program management processes and tools within the region.Support early-phase innovation, technology readiness activities, and pre-development projects in cooperation with Engineering and Customer teams.Contribute to global project management process enhancements and sharing.Partner with Product Line and Marketing teams to shape annual planning for the commercial vehicle program portfolio.Validate business cases and ensure project funding, resources, and investment decisions align with evolving business priorities.Lead and develop a team of Program Managers and Cost Managers, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and succession planning.Foster a culture of accountability, empowerment, and continuous learning. The Successful Applicant Minimum 5 years of experience in Program Management, Customer Interface, Engineering, or Operations within the automotive industry.Experience in commercial vehicle, powertrain, or automotive components preferred.Strong business acumen with an understanding of commercial and operational drivers.Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills; fluent English is required.Demonstrated ability to influence across functions and multiple organizational levels.Strong analytical skills with familiarity in financial modelling, cost structures, and business case development.Proven leadership in managing complex, multi-project environments.PMP certification is a plus.
