About Our Client

Our client is a significant player within the chemical industry. They operate a manufacturing site, with a focus on producing a diverse range of chemical products.

Job Description

1.Identifying and nurturing talent within the organization to build a robust talent pool and formulate an effective succession plan.
2.Taking the owership in safety, health, and environmental initiatives to reach desired outcomes, ensure strict compliance with all regulatory norms, and foster a good relationship with the local government in Changzhou.
3.Surpassing customer expectations by delivering good products and services.
4.Motivating team members to partake in Continuous Improvement (CI) events. Collaborating with the site's engineering team to establish optimal processes, layout, and work instructions, with the aim of maximizing product safety, quality, and throughput. Ensuring year - on - year productivity growth by developing stable operations and eliminating non - value - adding tasks.
5.Providing leadership to drive the plant's Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and maintenance processes, making sure that goals and objectives are not only met but surpassed.
6. Managing the manufacturing areas, ensuring consistent adherence to product quality standards. Employing quality control tools in manufacturing areas to guarantee quality at every processing stage. Soliciting quality improvement suggestions from all supervisors and team members during improvement events, and ensuring that customer quality expectations are not just met but exceeded.
7.Effectively managing managers, maintenance engineers, and support staff.
8.Skillfully managing all expenditures and keeping them at or below the budgeted levels.
9.Cultivating a positive work environment through strong leadership, good employee relations, and proficient conflict resolution skills.
10.Ensuring appropriate staffing levels and providing necessary training to support outstanding customer service.
Developing and maintaining systems for continuous improvement across all processes, leveraging tools like 6 Sigma, lean methodologies, and operational excellence frameworks to achieve the site's key performance indicators (KPIs).

The Successful Applicant

1.Hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
2.Have a minimum of 10 years of manufacturing experience in a relevant manufacturing setting, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity.
3.Demonstrate a successful history of attaining plant operational goals.
