Job Description Conduct in-depth analysis and assessment of traded risk exposures across Global Markets, including fixed income, equities, derivatives, interest rates, and commodities. Monitor and report on traded risk risk metrics, handle PnL analysis, tools such as VaR, Stress Testing and etc. Collaborate with traders, portfolio managers, and risk control functions to ensure effective risk management practices and adherence to risk limits. Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices related to market risk management. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements with all relevant regulatory requirements relating to market risk management and internal model approach to calculate market risk. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, or a related field. 10+ years of relevant experience in traded risk management, preferably within a bank. Strong knowledge of global markets and risk management principles. Proficiency in market risk measurement techniques, such as Var, stress testing, and scenario analysis. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and guidelines related to traded and market risk. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret and communicate complex risk concepts effectively. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and assess potential risk areas. Proficient in both written and spoken Cantonese and English.
