Job Description The ideal Senior Engineering Director, will be responsible for the following activities: Establish and implement strategic direction for the methods of manufacturing, analysis of manufacturing process and implementing solutions for problem solving. Oversee product development process, engineering BOM, in a right time manner with no failure, right quality (zero issue) and with cost saving concept. Drive Engineering initiatives/business productivity KPIs/metrics and P&L management. Develop new manufacturing process capability. Process improvement, implement lean practices, drive the factory manufacturing operations strategic initiatives. Lead and develop a team to deliver exceptional results. Collaborate with cross functional team: Quality, Industrial, Supply Chain... Serve as subject matter expert for best-in-class manufacturing engineering practices and tools, facilitating, continuos improvement, customer service excellence, metrics management, strategy development. The Successful Applicant The ideal candidates are having: Able to work on-site in Vietnam. Bachelor degree (advanced degree preferred) in Manufacturing or related disciplines. Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen or similar professional certification will be a big plus. Proven track record in leading Manufacturing/Operation in Asia. Cost and Quality focused. Excellent leadership, negotiation, communications, and interpersonal skills. Excellent analytically & problem solving skills. Results driven, simplify complex problems.
