We are looking for a battle-tested, commercially sharp VP of Sales to lead our growth in China. You'll be both a strategist and an operator-owning topline goals, building scalable channel frameworks, and creating a playbook for the next stage of "small but strong" growth.

The Shanghai-based team operates with a startup mindset and international collaboration, focusing on cross-border e-commerce and emerging wellness retail channels. Job Description

  • Sales Strategy Development Define and lead China's omni-channel sales strategy (Cross-border Ecom, Niche Retail, Wellness F&B, Boutiques)
  • Channel Expansion & Distributor Management Build and manage distributor networks across Tmall Global, JD Worldwide, specialty retailers, and emerging wellness partners
  • Pipeline Execution & Target Ownership Own monthly/quarterly/annual revenue targets; establish review and forecasting systems for sell-in and sell-out
  • Team Leadership & Culture Building Recruit and coach high-potential sales talent; inspire with clarity and KPI ownership; maintain lean and high-output structure
  • Market Intelligence Stay close to product movement, inventory turns, and channel trends. Conduct "whale house" visits regularly and lead competitive tracking
  • Cross-functional Collaboration Work with Product & Marketing to plan launches, pricing packs, and trade calendar; align with Sweden HQ weekly on growth experiments

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years sales experience in FMCG / Food & Beverage / Wellness space, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Proven experience in launching or scaling premium or imported brands in China
  • Solid understanding of distributor economics, inventory health, and anti-hoarding mechanisms (bonus if familiar with JDE practices)
  • Hands-on member who thrives in small teams and loves rolling up sleeves
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English; cross-cultural communicator; Nordic collaboration experience is a plus
  • Bonus for background in health food, better-for-you snacks, or early-stage brand environments
