Job Description Develop and Implement Quality Management System: Design and implement a comprehensive quality management framework, encompassing raw material sourcing, production process controls, and final product quality assurance. Ensure adherence to international quality standards (e.g., ISO, GMP) and Chinese regulatory guidelines (e.g., CFDA regulations). Supplier Qualification and Management: Establish and maintain a robust supplier qualification program for Chinese raw material suppliers, assessing quality, reliability, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Conduct regular audits and assessments of suppliers to identify potential quality risks and implement corrective actions. Process Control and Quality Assurance: Oversee production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications. Implement effective quality control checks at all stages of production, from raw material inspection to final product testing. Customer Complaint Management: Develop and implement a customer complaint management system, promptly addressing and resolving any issues related to product quality. Analyze complaint data to identify trends and root causes, implementing preventive measures to avoid recurrence. Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of the updated Chinese regulations and industry developments, ensuring that all products and processes comply with applicable laws and standards. Collaborate with the global quality and regulatory departments to ensure seamless communication and alignment with company policies and product innovation strategies. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, supplier performance, and regulatory compliance. Lead cross-functional teams to address quality challenges and implement corrective and preventive actions. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Science, food, Pharmacy, or related) with a minimum of 10 years of experience in quality assurance and regulatory affairs, preferably within the food or nutrition industry. Proven track record in managing quality systems and supplier relationships in a complex, regulated environment. Strong knowledge of Chinese regulations governing food and nutritional supplements, as well as international quality standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders. Fluent in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken. Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, and to work independently with minimal supervision.
