Job Description Align and execute carrier procurement related policies. Support line manager to develop and implement regional pricing strategies for all trade. Negotiate with Carriers, service providers, local agents, etc. to procure competitive general/FAK rates, products and services for all trade lanes. Develop pricing proposals for new products and services and provide quotations to overseas agents. Collaborate with sales and CS teams to design/provide door-to-door solutions based on clients' requirements. Coordinate with external and internal parties for capacity/space issues, especially the seasonal capacity requirements. Maintain good relationship with Carriers and vendors. Establish, monitor and update market intelligence in Aisa by analyzing market trends, carrier rates, and competitor pricing to optimise rate structures. Generate reports with collected data/information. Act as the backup of the line manager to take care of all procurement related work during his/her absence. Other tasks assigned by the line manager. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree or above. Proficient in oral & written English. Knowledge of the ocean freight industry with relevant experience in freight forwarding in procurement. Network with carriers at local and senior managerial level is a plus. Good communication & negotiation skills, able to work under pressure. Open-minded, client service oriented, result driven. Team player with self-motivation & high sense of responsibility. Able to work under pressure.
