Job Description Preeminent research projects in neuroscience and establishing new methodologies. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to advance drug discovery projects. Conducting detailed analysis of research data and presenting findings in scientific meetings. Writing research papers, reports, reviews and summaries. Keeping up-to-date with relevant scientific and technical developments. Ensuring that work is performed in accordance with appropriate safety and compliance standards. Mentoring and supervising junior staff in the life science division. Contributing to the overall strategy and goals of the life science division. The Successful Applicant A successful Neuroscience Principal Scientist should have: Ph.D. with expertise in multiple neuroscience areas, including but not limited to HD, ALS, FTD, and CMT. 3 ~ 5 years in academic and/or industry settings is desirable. Highly experienced with iPSC culture, neuronal differentiation and culture, confocal microscopy/high-content imaging, and MEA. Work in neurospheres and/or organoids is a plus. Deep knowledge of neurodegenerative disease models. Experience with in vivo behavioral assessments is a plus. Experience with RNA-seq library preparation and familiarity with omics-data analysis is a plus. Proven track record of research productivity, innovation, and teamwork/collaboration.
