Job Description Key Responsibilities: Strategic Lea dership: - Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy aligned with the company's global objectives. - Identify growth opportunities within the Chinese market and implement plans to capitalize on them. Operational Management: - Oversee the sales, importation, inventory management, distribution, installation of machine tools and spare parts. - Ensure efficient operations in sales, logistics, applications engineering and service delivery. - Monitor and improve operational efficiency to meet company performance goals. Sales and Marketing: - Drive revenue growth through direct sales and channel partnerships. - Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies for brand positioning and market penetration. - Build and maintain relationships with key customers, distributors, and stakeholders. Customer Service and Support: - Ensure the delivery of premium technical support and after-sales services to customers. - Oversee the maintenance and training programs for customers to enhance product value. Financial Management: - Prepare and manage annual budgets, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth. - Monitor financial performance and take corrective action when necessary. Regulatory and Compliance: - Ensure compliance with Chinese import/export regulations and corporate policies. - Manage any legal or operational issues related to product certifications, standards, or tariffs. Team Lea dership: - Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing team across operations, engineering, sales, and service. - Foster a collaborative and innovative workplace culture. Liaison with Headquarters: - Act as the primary contact between China and the headquarter. - Report on business performance, market trends, and operational challenges. The Successful Applicant Qualifications: - Proven experience in senior lea dership roles, preferably within the industrial machinery (grinding machine tools is a plus), manufacturing, and import/export sectors. - Strong understanding of high-precision machine tools and the needs of key manufacturing industries. - Demonstrated success in growing businesses within China's industrial sector. - Fluency in Mandarin and English; - Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Strong knowledge of Chinese import / export regulations and market dynamics. - Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field; MBA preferred. Preferred Attributes: - Strategic thinker with a hands-on management style. - Ability to navigate multicultural environments and build bridges between global and local teams. - Experience working with European companies is highly valued.
