Job Description

1. B2B Marketing Strategy Formulation & Execution​

  • Conduct in-depth market research on the food/FMCG B2B sector, including industry trends (such as healthy food, clean label, and sustainable supply), competitor strategies (pricing, channel layout, and customer service), and customer demand changes (e.g., catering chain's need for standardized ingredients, retail dealers' need for fast delivery).​​



  • Lead the execution of marketing strategies, track the progress of key projects (e.g., new product roadshows for catering clients, online promotion campaigns), adjust strategies in a timely manner based on market feedback and data analysis, and ensure the achievement of marketing objectives.​


2. B2B Customer Acquisition & Relationship Management​

  • Develop targeted customer acquisition strategies based on customer segmentation (e.g., large catering chains, regional retail distributors, small and medium-sized food processors), and design marketing tools (customized product quotations, supply chain solutions, and after-sales service commitments) to attract high-potential clients.​



  • Collaborate with the sales team to carry out key account marketing, participate in important client negotiations, provide marketing support (such as preparing client-specific product demonstration materials, market demand analysis reports), and help convert potential clients into formal customers.​​


3. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Resource Coordination​

  • Work closely with the R&D team to communicate B2B customer demand insights (e.g., catering clients' need for easy-to-process ingredients, dealers' need for small-packaged products), provide market data support for new product development, and participate in the formulation of new product positioning and pricing strategies.​



  • Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure that marketing activities (such as promotional campaigns for key products) are matched with supply capacity (inventory, production cycles, and delivery efficiency), and solve supply-related issues in marketing execution (e.g., stockouts during promotion periods) in a timely manner.​​​


The Successful Applicant

A successful Marketing Director should have:1. Education​

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Business Administration, Food Science, or related fields; Master's preferred.​


2. Professional Experience​

  • Min. 10 years of B2B marketing experience in food/FMCG, with at least 5 years of leadership experience (e.g., Marketing Manager, Senior Marketing Specialist).​



  • Proven track record: Successful new B2B product launches, key customer expansion, or industry brand awareness improvement.​



  • Familiar with food/FMCG B2B model (channels, customer types) and regulations (food safety, packaging).​



  • B2B digital marketing experience (e.g., B2B e-commerce operation, content strategy, HubSpot/Salesforce) is a plus.​


3. Core Competencies​

  • Market insight: Grasp food/FMCG B2B trends, understand To B client needs, and turn insights into strategies.​



  • Strategic thinking: Align marketing goals with business objectives; develop feasible, measurable plans.​



  • Execution & results: Lead team to execute strategies efficiently, track results, and optimize via data to meet KPIs.​



  • Cross-department collaboration: Coordinate with sales, R&D, supply chain; resolve conflicts to advance marketing work.​
