Job Description

The head of Retail is responsible for driving retail business within local/domestic market. He/ she would also be effectively managing and developing key client account partnership at c-suite level to ensure overall client satisfaction with the services, thereby achieving continuous revenue growth for the business.

  1. Working with regional executive team to provide strategic view and business plan to China retail business; Achieve sales target and manage accounts with new and existing clients; Strengthen client partnership through insights and collaborations.
  2. Identify and develop growth opportunity values using insights and data based on the client's needs.
  3. Establish and maintain excellent relationships with C suite decision makers within existing



and potential clients. Build and maintain C suite level engagement to increase up-sell opportunities.

  1. Establish mutual understanding and trust relationship with teams in collaboration and effectively communicate market strategies to achieve win-win.
  2. Identify potential problems and propose pro-active solutions to meet client needs.
  3. To drive a sizeable national retail business team comes with different generations. To mentor and empower team members.

The Successful Applicant

Minimum 15 years working experience in FMCG and ideally both FMCG and retail sector and grow into senior commercial head position.

Thorough understanding of the FMCG industry especially strong experience collaborating retail KA (NKA/RKA) clients.

With proven track record and network working with C-Suite contacts in these retail channels

Renewal/turn-around/Growth business experience is preferred

Language Skills - Must be native in Mandarin; Fluent in English both oral and written
