Head of Financial Line Risk -- A Global Insurance Broker

Job Description - Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Achieve Company's assigned business target.

2. Understand clients risk profile and exposures to provide advice on coverage, programme pricing and retention strategy.

3. Understand client business issues, needs and expectations and provide guidance on insurance requirements.

4. Undertake appropriate benchmarking for clients on their programme limits, coverage and deductibles as required.

5. Manage market relationships at both in an operational and strategic level.

6. Ensure all activities that are undertaken on behalf of company are compliant with regulation and internal standards and procedures.

7. Identify and grow China team

8. Ensure associates in the team possess appropriate levels of professional knowledge and experience in the type of services which provides to clients.

9. Preparation and issuance of appropriate coverage documentation, including wordings and placement slips within agreed contract certainty deadlines.

10. Assist with the resolution of service issues with insurers and other third party providers.

11. Keep abreast of insurance market developments and communicate to those associates as deemed appropriate and constantly monitor the market in order to consider the appropriate placement strategy for Company.

12. Provide support in drafting reports/presentations/bulletins for use both internally and externally.
