They offer comprehensive access control services applicable to industrial, safety, and transportation sectors. Currently they are operating globally with offices in the United States, Japan, and China.The company's product portfolio encompasses microwave sensors, laser sensors, electromagnetic induction coils, and other composite sensors. These offerings are engineered to enhance the performance, safety, and user comfort of automated equipment.

职责描述

Primary Responsibilities

  • Full APAC P&L responsibility with the goal to achieve sustainable sales & profit growth in the APAC region.
  • In collaboration with the Regional Managing Director, develop a strategy for APAC and strengthen our core business while accelerating our diversification initiatives (markets/geographics) in the APAC region. The Strategy and execution plan needs to be communicated at all levels of the organization to get the buy-in from the teams.
  • In collaboration with the APAC Sales Director, support, expand and develop the sales network to increase sales with OEM, Distributors and System Integrators.
  • In collaboration with the APAC Marketing Director, build an innovative product road map and work on strategic communication plans to educate the market about our sensors solutions.
  • Assess, coach, develop the leadership team and other key roles in the organization to create a high-performing and high-potential team while reinforcing the company culture by promoting our values.
  • Lead innovation throughout the whole organization with the aim to improve products know-how, our processes, and our services to our customers.
  • Manage integrity of financial management and reporting system while making sure that we have the adequate and proper controls in place.

Education and Experience

  • MBA in a Management with a Sales/Marketing background.
  • 5 years of experience as General Manager/Managing Director with full P&L responsibility in an autonomous business unit ideally part of an international group.
  • Solid technical background, ideally with an affinity for safety sensors (radar, infrared, laser, …).
  • Strategic thinker with proven track record in developing new business/markets while dealing in a complex commercial environment where you will sell products through various channels (OEM, Distributors, System Integrators).
  • He/She will possess sound financial knowledge, together with an understanding of the legal
    responsibilities of operating a legal entity in China.
  • Self-motivator with an interest for starting up and growing business activities.
  • Will be able to collaborate closely with others, utilizing his/her experience to develop specific initiatives, projects, or customers.
  • Experience in building, managing, and coaching a team.
  • He/She will be a firm believer in leadership, teamwork, staff involvement and development.
  • Excellent language skills, both oral and written in Chinese and English are a must.
