Job Description

  • Lead strategic account management across China for automotive clients.
  • Drive commercial growth with a turnover target of $150M USD, contributing directly to regional revenue.
  • Develop and execute client development plans, ensuring retention, upselling, and long-term partnership success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across APAC to align logistics capabilities with client needs.
  • Identify new business opportunities and lead end-to-end commercial engagement from pitch to contract.
  • Provide regular reporting and strategic updates to regional and global leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with commercial terms and contribute to budgeting and ROI planning.
  • Act as a key commercial interface in China, with visibility across Singapore, Shanghai, and US-based leadership.
  • Individual contributor role with high autonomy, reporting directly to the VP of Automotive Vertical.

The Successful Applicant

  • Commercially sharp with a proven track record in key account management, preferably in automotive logistics.
  • Comes from a 3PL background with experience across freight forwarding, warehousing, and inland transport (not ocean-only).
  • Mandarin-speaking, ideally with SOE experience, and capable of navigating government affairs.
  • Strong client acquisition and retention skills, with the ability to hunt and grow new business.
  • Open to relocation to Beijing, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-autonomy environment.
  • Confident managing C-level relationships and collaborating with global teams across China, Singapore, and the US.
