Job Description

  • In-depth Economic Analysis: Conduct thorough research on economic trends and market dynamics. Analyze economic data, issues, and trends, and apply economic theories to real-world scenarios.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Gather economic data from multiple sources such as government reports, financial databases, and academic studies. Use statistical tools and econometric models to analyze the data, identifying trends, correlations, and causal relationships.
  • Report Writing and Presentation: Communicate research findings through clear, concise reports, charts, and presentations to support decision-making processes.
  • Policy Impact Assessment: Evaluate the impact of economic policies, trade agreements, and market changes on specific industries or regions. Provide insights to support policy-making and strategic planning.
  • Economic Forecasting: Develop forecasting models to predict future economic conditions and market trends.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work with multidisciplinary teams, including analysts, statisticians, and industry experts, to conduct research projects.
  • Continuous Monitoring of Economic Developments: Stay updated on the global and regional economic developments to ensure the relevance and timeliness of research.

The Successful Applicant

  • Education: Advanced degree (Ph.D.) in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, STATA) and strong data analysis and forecasting capabilities.
