Job Description

Short-Term Demand Forecasting (0-6 Months)
- Develop and maintain weekly/monthly demand forecasts using historical data, promotional plans, and market trends.
- Adjust forecasts based on real-time sales performance, inventory levels, and supply constraints.
- Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to incorporate promotions, new launches, and seasonal demand shifts.

2. Inventory & Supply Alignment:
- Monitor short-term inventory levels to prevent stock outs or overstock situations.
- Work closely with Supply Planning & Procurement to ensure production and procurement align with demand signals.
- Identify risks (e.g., supply delays, demand spikes) and propose quick-turn solutions.

3. Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Track and report forecast accuracy (MA PE, bias), fill rates, and inventory health Kips.
- Provide weekly demand updates to stakeholders in Sales, Finance, and Operations.
- Use Excel (pivot tables, LOCKUP), EARP systems (SAP, Oracle), and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) to analyse trends.

4. Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Support S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) meetings with near-term demand insights.
- Liaise with Customer Service & Logistics to address urgent demand changes.

The Successful Applicant

8+ years in demand planning, supply chain, or inventory management (FM CG/retail preferred).
Proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, macros) and demand planning tools (e.g., SAP APO, Kin axis).
Familiarity with EARP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data visualisation tools.
Strong analytically skills with attention to detail.
