Job Description

  • Develop and execute technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives, ensuring alignment with industry trends and customer needs.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive R&D projects from concept to commercialization, managing timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Foster innovation through collaboration with internal teams, academia, and industry partners to identify emerging technologies and opportunities.
  • Oversee intellectual property strategy, including patent filing, licensing, and risk management.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and quality protocols.
  • Communicate technology strategies and progress to senior leadership, investors, and external stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, forums, and customer engagements to build thought leadership.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Material Science, or related field); Advanced degree (MS/Ph.D.) preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in semiconductor equipment development, with 10+ years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in commercializing front end equipment (e.g., etching, thin film deposition, lithography, etc.), including product launch and market penetration.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale R&D programs, balancing innovation with operational efficiency.
  • Strong technical acumen in semiconductor processes, materials science, and equipment design.
  • Experience with technology partnerships, M&A, or strategic alliances to augment capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed (up to 25%).
