In the GM position, you will play a critical role in guiding the strategic direction of our business within one of the dynamic global markets. The responsibilities will encompass overseeing the P&L activities, guiding the growth initiatives, expanding the distinguished brands in China, implementing online business strategies across various platforms, nurturing a talented local team, and ensuring seamless alignment with our Global functions.

Job Description

  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to enhance profitability and foster sustainable growth in the competitive Chinese market, aligning closely with overarching organizational goals.
  • Lead regional endeavors to elevate the brand presence, drive expansion in China, and establish brand dominance in the market.
  • Implement innovative e-commerce strategies to drive online business growth across diverse platforms, leveraging market trends to amplify brand visibility and boost sales.
  • Cultivate a high-caliber local team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation to enhance business performance and employee engagement.
  • Serve as a key liaison between China operations and Global functions in HQ, facilitating seamless communication, alignment, and collaboration for organizational success.
  • Demonstrate exceptional leadership skills to motivate and inspire the team in achieving business objectives, exceeding targets, and fostering a positive work environment conducive to growth.
  • Utilize profound commercial acumen and brand management expertise to refine brand positioning, increase market share, and enhance customer engagement in the competitive fashion landscape.
  • Lead the brand through robust and sustainable growth in alignment with the business plan and value creation initiatives, assuming full P&L responsibility and overseeing day-to-day management decisions.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Executive Officer on strategy formulation, execution, and performance reviews, while supervising all value chain and support functions.
  • Cultivate long-term brand equity through enhanced brand awareness, loyalty, and customer satisfaction, expanding market share by attracting new customers to the brand.
  • Establish and maintain high-level stakeholder relationships, creating a vibrant workplace culture, and driving a digital-first mindset to prepare for future growth.
  • Establish seamless integration across retail operations, online channels, digital marketing, social media, and CRM for a true omnichannel model, while acting as a brand role model and ambassador externally.
