China Finance Director - UK Listed Healthcare Company

Key Accountabilities:· To provide strong local leadership, working closely with the Head of China and the local management team.

· To continually challenge and assist the business to improve its financial and operational performance.

· To support the Head of China with accurate and timely commercial reporting and analysis including actual and forecast performance.

· Set a framework of rigorous financial analysis for all key activities including financial ratios, working capital and other key performance indicators to ensure the efficient use of cash.

· To manage the local budgeting and planning processes ensuring tight financial control is maintained over the business.

· To be responsible for the local entity accounting (incl. both profit & loss and balance sheet), cash flow forecasting, bank accounts, payroll, and liaison with any outsourced providers.

· Ensure local statutory entity reporting complies with its local Financial, Audit and Tax Accounting obligations including applicable tax registrations, filings and payments, local codes and legal matters, local statutory audits and group tax planning,

· To work with the Group's Head of Internal Audit to ensure the internal financial control framework is aligned with business requirement and culture.

· To support the Group's external audit (including Intangible impairment assessments) as necessary.

· To be responsible for the management and development of the local Finance function.
