Lead all financial processes including month-end closing, forecasting, annual operating plan (AOP), and strategic planning cycles, ensuring compliance with global standards. Provide comprehensive variance analysis to identify root causes and enable corrective actions. Conduct balance sheet reviews, maintain accurate accruals and reserves, and recommend profit and cash flow improvement opportunities. Ensure compliance with GAAP, statutory requirements, and Sarbanes-Oxley across the region. Review and approve capital investment decisions, providing ROI analysis and driving cost optimisation initiatives. Manage regional working capital, partnering with operations to improve inventory turnover and cash collection. Lead commercial financial analysis for strategic growth initiatives and product portfolio management. Provide financial support for business development projects and strategic investments. Guide plant controllers on standard cost revisions, transfer pricing, and inventory processes. Drive financial leadership to implement corporate initiatives and enhance operational performance. Protect company assets through currency hedging and risk management strategies. Benchmark financial performance and implement great practices across the finance function. Build and develop a high-performing finance team, ensuring succession planning and capability development. The Successful Applicant A successful BU CFO should have: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; CPA or MBA preferred. 15+ years in a manufacturing environment, including 10 years in leadership roles and at least 5 years managing multi-site or multi-country operations. Strong background in multinational companies (US or European) with regional leadership experience. Proven ability to operate within a complex, matrixed global organisation. Expertise in accounting principles, regulatory compliance, and international financial disciplines (tax, transfer pricing, currency hedging). Skilled in financial analysis, ERP systems, and strategic planning. Strong business acumen with the ability to bridge local and global priorities. Exceptional integrity, direct communication style, and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
