My client is a small yet exquisite European enterprise engaged in licensing-in business for pharmaceutical formulations, as well as biotechnology, and the trade and services of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients and intermediates.

Job Description

  • Identify local products that may appeal to the US and European markets by offering regulatory services, holding marketing authorizations, managing product releases, and conducting licensing activities.
  • Initiate collaborations with Chinese partners for small and large molecules targeted for marketing in Europe and the US.
  • Work with the project team to identify, implement, and continuously refine the company's strategies in the local market.
  • Proactively build a network of contacts to attract new clients and explore new market opportunities, fostering long-term partnerships with Chinese companies.
  • Promote our products and services to pharmaceutical and biotech companies, highlighting our potential to support their drug development, registration, licensing, and supply chain management.
  • Collaborate with the project team to offer customized services tailored to each customer's requirements.
  • Maintain close communication with internal and external stakeholders, organize and facilitate meetings, demos, and conference calls to ensure smooth communication and timely project follow-up.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends and the competitive landscape.
  • Stay informed about the developments, challenges, and opportunities within the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to showcase our services and products, enhancing our visibility and credibility in the pharmaceutical industry.

The Successful Applicant

Educational background:
University education with scientific focus (preferably Biotechnology, Chemistry,
Biochemistry, Biology or Pharmacy). PhD is preferred but not a must.Professional background:
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in the regulated industry, preferably in the pharma-
/biotech industry, with an understanding of pharmaceutical and biotechnological
manufacturing processes
- Deep knowledge and understanding of EU & cGMP and EU/US FDA regulatory
requirements
- Being familiar with the pharmaceutical and biotech scene in China, well connected in
the biologics/pharma business landscape in China and having access to a brought
professional network
- A good commercial understanding and excellent negotiation skills
- Mandatory Chinese native speaker and excellent knowledge of English
- MUST HAVE BD, In/Out-licensing and sales knowledge and the relevant contacts
