Job Description Fabric Sourcing and Development: Identify and source high-quality fabrics, keeping abreast of the trends and developments in the market. Replicate fabrics as needed, ensuring consistency and quality. Coordination and Arrangement: Organise proto yardage and sales, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy. Quality Control: Follow up on lab dip and test reports to maintain the standards of fabric quality. Trend Development: Develop fabric trend boards to guide designers and customers, based on seasonal concepts and themes. Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service, including stock checks and distributor information. Library Management: Monitor and maintain the Fabric Library records, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accessible. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the customer's Fabric team and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination. Administrative Support: Assist in mass mailers, product launches, and other administrative tasks as assigned by Management. The Successful Applicant Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in fabric sourcing and development. Strong understanding of fabrics and materials, with excellent development skills. Familiarity with merchandising and product development processes is essential. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members and external parties. Well-organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and solve problems effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and a good command of English.
