Direct responsibility for sales, marketing and technical support team based as follows:
Sales and Customer Service in Shanghai & Singapore
Implementing marketing strategies; analysing trends and results
Responsible for performance of the sales team in China and Asia Pacific Region
Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
Developing field sales action plans, maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.
Maintains sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
Maintains sales staff job results by counselling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops;
reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Diploma in Engineering
At least 8 years of engineering/technical sales experience of which at least 5 years in mechanical/hydraulic related products or equipment
At least 10 years of supervisory experience
Must have experience managing a sales team in China, with proven record of success
Asia Pacific regional sales management experience is a must, with proven record of success
Experience of selling premium specification, premium price engineering products with technical features
Experience of a successful commercial strategy, product management and marketing strategy
Willing to travel frequently
