Job Description

  • Develop and implement trading strategies in line with the company's objectives.
  • Manage the aluminium/alumina portfolio to meet financial targets.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Asia and global alumina markets.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with clients and suppliers.
  • Coordinate with the logistics team to manage shipments and deliveries.
  • Oversee risk management processes and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Provide market reports and insights to the management team.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless trading operations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Aluminum/Alumina Trader should have:

  • An academic background in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • A proven track record in trading, preferably in the Energy & Natural Resources industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the aluminium/alumina market.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin.
