About Our Client
Our client is a specialist converter of paper and board based products for a diverse range of Customers in Australia and throughout the world. With over 50 years of experience, they are one of the largest manufacturers of paper packaging products in the Asian region. They are currently seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join their dynamic team in Heshan, Guangdong.
Job Description
- Work closely with Procurement team to visit suppliers in regular basis
- Uplift quality standard of suppliers to consistently meet our requirement
- Lead the investigation and decide corrective/preventative actions with suppliers whenever quality issues occur.
- Convey governmental and/or international quality requirements to suppliers
- Evaluate the capability of potential suppliers and make recommendations to Procurement team
- Perform supplier audits regularly
- Work with suppliers to submit necessary certifications/documents before deadline whenever required
- Prepare supplier performance report in regular basis
- Make sure the department always complies with external audit requirements
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor Degree preferably in any Engineering discipline with Quality background
- 3-5 years experience in paper related or packaging industry and supplier audit
- Knowledge in paper manufacturing process and control is highly preferable
- Good command of English, both written and oral
